This Halloween I made spooky finger cookies, which were quite a hit. Though it looked gory, but tasted quite good ๐๐
Sharing the recipe as below.
Ingredients
- 125 gm of Butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp vanilla essence
- 75 gm caster sugar
- 200 gm plain flour
- 1/2 tpsp of baking powder
- Almonds
Method
- Take butter, egg, sugar and Vanilla essence and beat it till it becomes really soft and fluffy
- Add flour and baking powder
- Make a soft dough
- Give it whatever shape you like
- If making spooky fingers then use almonds to make nails
- Heat oven at 200C and bake it for 20-25 minutes
Tips:
- The temperature and time will depend on the oven, mine bakes a bit slow
- For blood look near the nails, I used ketchup, you can use jam or jelly as well
